That Went Well

That Went Well

The Pulphouse Kickstarter has come and gone. Thank you to all who supported it.

When starting the project we were all excited, and a bit nervous. Excited by the prospect of bringing back an amazing magazine that has been out of print for 21 years. Nervous because we didn’t know how many people actually wanted it to come back.

As it turns out, there are a lot of people who are as excited as we are about Pulphouse. When we launched (<– Purposeful choice of words there) the campaign took off like a rocket. We asked you all for $5,000 to make this magazine a reality. Twenty-one days later, we were amazed to see that we reached $35,000, with all three stretch goals reached, and a new mascot. As Dean would say, (grin).

We are ecstatic that so many of you lent your support to the return of Pulphouse. Dean is currently hard at work assembling Issue Zero, which we are hoping to have out by the end of November to all of the Kickstarter backers.

Thank you again to everyone who has made this project possible. The covers you see below exist because of your enthusiasm.

We look forward to reading along with you.

The Final Covers

The Final Covers

Here they are folks! (aren’t they pretty.)

Below are the covers for the upcoming first year of Pulphouse Fiction Magazine! They are a bit different from the original designs, but we think they are better for it.

Issue Zero will be available exclusively through the Pulphouse Kickstarter. The Kickstarter campaign is now Live! Click Here to view.

Preliminary Covers

Preliminary Covers

We thought it would be fun to show you some of the preliminary covers. This is the first full year of covers. The author names are authors already confirmed to be in Pulphouse. There are more coming. And these covers might and will change some as this year goes on.

And yes, you see that correctly, we will do an Issue Zero as Pulphouse lines always did.

If you had a subscription to the first incarnation of Pulphouse Magazine and it shut down before your subscription was filled completely, please write us at:

subscriptions@wmgpublishingmail.com

Put Pulphouse Subscription in the subject line if you would. We will get you at least a year’s electronic subscription to the new magazine even if you don’t remember how many issues you had left. If you do remember, let us know that as well.

And we will be taking new subscriptions shortly.

Pulphouse Magazine Is Returning

Pulphouse Magazine Is Returning

After twenty years we’re coming back.

Hang on, we’re working on this place slowly. But simply put, Pulphouse Fiction Magazine will be returning in January 2018.

If you had a subscription to the old Pulphouse: A Fiction Magazine, please write to subscriptions@wmgpublishingmail.com and tell them you were a subscriber to the old Pulphouse: A Fiction Magazine.

If you remember how many issues you had left when the old magazine shut down, tell us and we will credit you with that many of the new magazine. If you can’t remember (because we can’t either) we will give you a full year (4 issues) in electronic format of the new Pulphouse Fiction Magazine.

Thanks,

Dean Wesley Smith and Kristine Kathryn Rusch
